Perimeter Protection Systems by Smart Techno

Reliable perimeter security alarm systems for facilities of any security level

The company Smart Techno offers a full range of services for creating perimeter security alarm systems, including design, installation, commissioning, and integration into a unified facility security system.

Our solutions are used for:

  • Protecting the perimeter from unauthorized access;
  • Ensuring restricted-access security at enterprises, military units, and critical infrastructure;
  • Organizing interaction between security personnel and technical security means.

Components of a typical perimeter protection system

We design and implement perimeter alarm systems using:

  • Engineering fences (3D mesh, barbed wire);
  • Control-trace strips (CTS) and patrol routes;
  • Technical security means (zone 1 and zone 2 sensors, lighting, communications, video surveillance);
  • Cable infrastructure, power supply units, backup power supplies;
  • Operational communication and alarm systems;
  • Access control systems and vehicle/personnel inspection systems.

Main stages of work

  1. Preparatory works:
  • Site survey, preparation of technical specifications and terms of reference, topographic survey;
  • Design, cost estimation, expert review;
  • Site preparation: soil clearing, leveling, CTS formation.
  1. Installation works:
  • Earthworks, trenching;
  • Laying cables (copper/fiber optic), installing signal tape and junction boxes;
  • Installation of alarm, video surveillance, and lighting equipment;
  • Integration with the control point, installation of power and backup power lines.
  1. Configuration and training:
  • Coordination of all systems (sensors, video, lighting);
  • Trial operation, defect elimination;
  • Personnel training, preparation of as-built documentation.

Technical solutions we implement

  • CTS zone lighting: ensuring illuminance of at least 3 lux, using Fresnel lens luminaires or LED floodlights.
  • Centralized surveillance: installation of remote workstations in bunkers, remote management via fiber optic networks or encrypted radio bridges.
  • Data storage reliability: deployment of backup servers in protected zones (bunker, basement) based on FileOver technology.
  • Operational communications: wired call points on the perimeter or portable radio stations.
  • Power supply: solutions with one or two inputs, UPS, diesel generator sets, petrol generators with ATS/ATS.
  • Automated control: alarm lighting, remote mine detonation control (if required), taking into account the safety of technical security means.

Regulatory framework and standards

All systems are designed in accordance with the requirements of:

  • Instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the equipment of guarded facilities;
  • VBN, DBN, GOST, UFC (USA), internal standards of SE "NEC "Ukrenergo";
  • Legislation of Ukraine in the field of energy, civil aviation, and nuclear energy.
